Cover Concept and Design - James Darling

This cover was designed around the "Blueprint" theme of the yearbook. The actual architectural blueprints for Northern were superimposed on top of an overhead photograph of the school, obtained from the Toronto Mapping and Aerial Photography Department. Although a relatively simple concept, it took a great deal of time and effort to actually match up the blueprints with the photograph because - much to my surprise - they were not an exact match!
